Launch notes: version two
What two years of iteration taught us about shipping something people keep.

Version two is out. It is mostly smaller than version one, which was the hardest decision in it.
What changed
- Search is instant and no longer round-trips
- The sidebar remembers where you were
- Keyboard navigation covers every list in the application
- Roughly forty percent less JavaScript on first load
The removals took longer to agree on than the additions took to build.
What we removed
- Three view modes that between them had under two percent usage
- A settings screen with eleven toggles, now four
- The onboarding tour
The tour was the argument. It existed because the interface needed explaining, and the correct response to that is not a better tour.
